Update: Asiana 214 pilot names are : Lee Kang-kook and co-pilot Lee Jeong-min. NTSB appologised today for the wrong names confirmed by one of the interns. The names confirmed and read on a national television were : “Sum Ting Wong” – “Wi To Lo” – “Ho Li Fuk” and “Bang Ding Ow” . Obviously those names were made up.
A Boeing 777 belonging to Asiana Airlines (AAR214) crash landed today at San Francisco airport. The plane was carrying 290 passengers and 12 crew members. Immediately after the crash the fire started and the footage shows smoke rising from the plane. All passenger left the plane jumping the inflatable emergency slides.
Update:At least 181 people have been transported to area hospitals, 49 with serious injuries. Two passengers were killed and reports claim that they are Chinese nationals. Asiana provided the nationalities of all passengers of AA214 : 77 Korean citizens, 141 Chinese citizens, 61 U.S. citizens and 1 Japanese citizen. The China National TV reported that the deceased passengers were two young Chinese women, aged 16 and 17. NTSB confirmed via Twitter they arrived on scene and they will be investigating the crash.

A passenger twitted : “I just crash landed at SFO. Tail ripped off. Most everyone seems fine. I’m ok. Surreal” . He also added the following next two tweets : “Fire and rescue people all over the place. They’re evacuating the injured. Haven’t felt this way since 9/11” and “Lots of activity here. Friends, pls don’t call right now. I’m fine. Most people are totally calm and trying to” . He concluded that most of the passengers are ok. According to unofficial reports it seems that even though there were no injuries/fatalities at first, someone claims that helicopters were taking victims of the crash to Stanford University Hospital.

All we know is Asiana 777 AAR214 Flight 214 coming from Seoul crash landed today at San Francisco airport. This is the first major aviation incident since 2001.
