Plane Accidents Report 2013

After the all media coverage of Asiana crash we decided to make an aviation safety report as of July(half year). The number of fatal accidents raised because of the small plane crashes with victims but the number of airliner accident fatalities is way behind the number in 2012. Year 2012 was one of the safest year since 1945 by number of accidents. In the next lines, we will make a comparison between 2012 plane crashes report (full year) and 2013 report (half year).

Total number of accidents: 119
Total number of fatalities: 790
The worst accident happened on : 3rd of June – Fatalities : 163
Notable accidents :

Total number of fatalities: 169
The worst accident happened on : 29th of January – Fatalities : 21

As you can see the 2013 numbers look better than 2012 : 56 vs 119 crashes and 169 vs 790 fatalities.
