Southwest Boeing 737 Phoenix – Bomb threat

southwest bomb hoax
A Boeing 737-700 belonging to Southwest Airlines (registration number N248WN) was perfoming flight WN-2675 from Los Angeles to Austin. While being at FL370 near Phoenix, a phone call was received on ground indicating a bomb was on board of Southwest plane. Fighter aircrafts were dispatched to escort the aircraft to Phoenix airport where it landed safely 25 minutes later. The plane was guided to a remote stand and passengers were disembarked safely. The plane was carrying 143 passengers. Later the authorities searched the luggage and all suspicious passengers but the bomb threat was NOT confirmed. It seems someone made a terrible joke and authorities are trying to track him down. The aircraft continued its flight after a delay of 8 hours.
