The first fatal plane crash – Orville Wright 1908

September 1908 plane crash
As we all know, the Wright brothers were credited as inventors of first working airplane. Who would have known that in September 17, 1908 , Orville Wright would crash his invention and kill one passenger Lt. Thomas Selfridge. This is the first documented fatality in a plane crash. The cause of the crash was later found to be propeller separation. Miraculously, Orville Wright, was luckier than Selfridge and survived the crash. He suffered few injuries like broken ribs and legs.

  1. This is a message to the webmaster. Your website:http://www.planecrashes.org/the-first-fatal-plane-crash-orville-wright-1908.html is missing out on at least 300 visitors per day. I discovered this page via Google but it was difficult to find as you were not on the first page of search results. I have found a website which offers to dramatically increase your traffic to your site: http://aerotraffic.com/web-traffic/. I managed to get over 10,000 visitors per month using their services, you could also get lot more targeted traffic than you have now. Hope this helps :) Take care.
